Supervision

I am an experienced CBT and EMDR therapist offering clinical supervision to therapists working with adults in both NHS and private practice settings. I am fully accredited with the BABCP and a member of the EMDR Association UK.

With over eight years of experience in the NHS, I’ve worked across a range of senior, supervisory and managerial roles. Alongside my private practice, I continue to work within an NHS Talking Therapies (IAPT) service in East London.

I have experience supervising PWPs, as well as trainee and qualified CBT therapists.

I completed my supervision training at the IoPPN, King’s College London, in April 2023, and have attended additional CPD trainings on delivering evidence-based supervision.

What is a Supervision session like?

In our supervision sessions, I provide a reflective space for you to discuss your clients in detail.

We’ll begin by identifying your supervision question, helping us focus on the areas where you need support most. Together, we can explore formulation, treatment plans, and any challenges you encounter during assessment, treatment or your relationship with your client.

Supervision will be tailored to your individual needs and level of experience. My aim is to make you feel empowered, confident in your next steps, and support you in growing as a therapist.

Can you help with Accreditation?

Yes, I routinely work with trainees who are working towards their CBT Accreditation. As an accredited and registered member with the BABCP I hold sufficient experience to write recommendations for CBT Accreditation.

How much does Supervision cost?

My fee is £85 per 50-minute session. For group supervision, I charge £120 for 90 minutes, which can be shared between 2–3 supervisees. Payment is by bank transfer prior to each session. I understand that finances can be a barrier during training, so I may be able to offer a reduced rate for trainees. Please get in touch to discuss this.

My Approach

Supervision with me is collaborative, non-judgmental and grounded in evidence-based practice. I integrate structured CBT supervision models with space for reflection, case formulation and therapist development. Where helpful, I also draw on EMDR principles and trauma-informed perspectives.

I have a particular interest in eating disorders, anxiety disorders and trauma.

I believe supervision should be a supportive space where you feel safe to be honest, explore challenges, celebrate progress, and grow your skills and confidence. My style is warm, attuned, and strengths-focused.

How long are Supervision sessions?

Each supervision session lasts 50 to 90 minutes, depending on if we are meeting individually or in a group setting. We can meet monthly or fortnightly, depending on your needs and preferences.

Do you offer remote or in-person supervision?

Yes. I offer online supervision via Microsoft Teams, and may be able to offer in-person sessions in London, depending on location and availability.

Anna was really patient and professional throughout the time we had therapy. She really helped me to think deeper, which meant I made a lot of big, helpful realisations and changes.
